QR code generator
Make a QR code for a web link, your Wi-Fi network or any text, then download it for print or screen. These are static codes: they work forever and do not route people through our servers.
How to make a QR code
- Choose what the code is for: a website link, a Wi-Fi network or plain text.
- Fill in the details. The code updates as you type.
- Download it as a PNG for documents and social media, or SVG for sharp printing at any size.
Test before you print
Always scan your code with a phone camera before printing it. Keep plenty of contrast between the code and background (dark on light works best), and leave a clear border around it.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The information is stored inside the code itself, so it works for as long as the link or details stay the same. Some other sites make "dynamic" codes that stop working if you stop paying; these do not.
How do Wi-Fi QR codes work?
When someone scans the code with their phone camera, the phone offers to join your network without typing the password. It works on modern iPhone and Android phones.
Can I use these codes commercially?
Yes, on menus, flyers, packaging or anything else, free of charge.
